Shibuya - most busy place in Japan I know off. It is actually shocking to see for the first time masses of people around you when standing close to the entrance to Shibuya JR station. I don't think I will ever forgot this sight!
For me it is also a frequent shopping destination, BicCamera (electornics), TowerRecords (CD/books) and many other interesting shops can be found here.
