This week I went to Bangkok and I have to say this visit left me with mixed opinions about the city. On one hand architecture is great and there is a lot of places to see in and around Bangkok. People also seem to be friendly, BUT on the other hand there is this feeling all around you that absolutely everyone you deal with (taxi drivers, waitresses and even sometime hotel staff) wants to rip you off. After a few days I was really tired of bargaining and arguing. So if you end up in Bangkok be prepared for a lot of tough pricing discussions!
