I was extremely lucky being able to take this shot. I came to Edinburgh for just a few nights during very unstable weather. I almost gave up trying to take a picture of castle during late evening walk around the city and then I realized that Moon is slowly appearing from behind it. This was really nice moment I have enjoyed despite cold, rain and wind :-)

Thanks! First of all I did take separate exposures, on for the Moon and onother for background. Then I blended them in PS. So in short You are right there was a lot of PS involved :-)
The scene in reality looked however almost as on this photo, it was beautiful!
